The Whitethorn

Rooted in legend, served with soul.

The Whitehorn Tree, known in Irish folklore as the fairy tree, was believed to mark places where the human and spirit worlds collided, with many whitethorn trees scattered around the ancient lands of The Rine it plays a part of our storytelling in times gone by.

From sacred roots to shared plates - The Whitethorn is a relaxed dining space at The Rine. Using the freshest, local ingredients our menu is an ode to local producers and growers in the region - from aged Rib Eyes, to mouth watering Pizzas with fresh herbs and a delightful splash of desserts to make you want to come back for more.

Our Head Chef, Fergal, together with his creative team, ensures that each meal is an exceptional culinary experience using only the finest of produce.
